ABOUT GÜLLÜK
Güllük is a nice coastal town located on a bay (Asin Bay) which is at the end of a gulf having the same name as the town (Güllük Gulf, also known as Mandalya Gulf). It is reached from the 8 km long road which is to the right from the Milas-Bodrum highway. Although it is a small town of Milas, it has the features of a county. In contrast to the crowds of Bodrum, it is a quiet holiday region.
Güllük is located around the Mandalya Gulf and Asin Bay; and with its coast, fishermen, cafes, and restaurants, the town

preserves its features of being a lovely fishing village. Since the houses and hotels are built on the hills, the houses and hotels always have an uninterupted sea view. You find an abundance of fish in the sea and in the fish traps established at the northern part of the town. Blue fish, grey mullet and especially eel are the fish species that are caught. You can sit in one of the coastal restaurants and feast yourself on eel. In most of the bays around, there are commercial fisheries; and gilt head bream and perch are grown.
